Chocolat Meilleure and Vanilla Mieux are two witches who are pitched in a contest to see who will become the new Queen of the Witch World. They must travel to the Human World and collect the hearts of humans. Whoever collects the most "human hearts" wins. Even though they're rivals, the two are still best friends. Join them on this adventure!

La storia parla di Chocola e Vanilla, due giovani streghette molto carine, di un regno magico chiamato Extramondo, scelte per competere nella gara che deciderà chi delle due sarà la nuova regina del regno. Benché rivali le due protagoniste risultano essere grandi amiche sin dall'infanzia e tale amicizia prosegue per quasi tutta la vicenda. La madre di Chocola, Cinnamon, vinse la precedente competizione, ma a causa degli Orchi (Malefici, nella versione italiana), fu la madre di Vanilla, Candy, a divenire regina. Anche per questo Chocola adesso è molto determinata a vincere la gara per diventare la Raggiante Regina di Luce (Stella luminosa in Italia). Al fine di vincere la gara, le due streghette devono fingersi comuni ragazze e competere per sottrarre agli esseri umani il maggior numero di cristalli del cuore (cristalli che contengono le emozioni e i sentimenti). Con l'aiuto di Rockin' Robin, loro mentore e guardiano, e di due famigli, Duke e Blanca, inizia l'avventura delle due amiche per decretare chi sarà la prossima regina a salire al trono.
